About

I’m a composer and jazz music student. I’ve studied composition for many years with Preben Antonsen and more recently with Joseph Stillwell. My piano composition style is a fusion of minimalist, ambient, and modern classical, and I’ve been experimenting with digital music compositions (after studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s Technology and Applied Composition Immersive). My song, “Briarlight,” was a Semifinalist in the 2024 Music International Grand Prix’s Teen Original Composition category. I also study jazz piano and composition with Ben Stolorow and am a pianist in Berkeley High School’s incredible Jazz Ensemble, where I play in several combos.

I’ve also done some music software programming. At UC San Diego’s COSMOS Music and Technology program, I created with two other students a program called CloudChord, an automatic chord progression generator that harmonizes with any microphone input.
